(As told by Adrianus) We first met in Jakarta on December 2019, on a casual BBQ party held by my cousin to celebrate end of 2019 together with his friends. I just got back for good from Sydney and began to seek for employment in my home country. She was invited to the BBQ party, since she is one of my cousin closest friend, and we played some game together during the party. She caught my eye on that day but we didn't talk too much because I was discreet with a new group of people.

Then on January 2020, we met again on a couple of indoor group activities like bowling, watching cinema, and Sunday service. We began to exchange messages through Instagram while sharing our life stories in Jakarta and Sydney. Our conversation starting to get lengthier on each day and I build up my courage to meet with her on Friday evening in a restaurant just to get to know her more. I told her to bring her favorite dessert and I will bring mine as well.

We ate in a restaurant Central Jakarta and began telling our stories for hours. Little did we know that we shared a lot of common stories and we bonded really well. At the end of the night, I texted her that our conversation felt like I've known her for so long but I never met her. I told her that I wasn't sure what God was planning to do but I would like to get to know her better.

Months have passed and we continued to text each other every single day. By June 2020, I asked her to be my girlfriend and continue our relationship into courtship. We've always been serious with our relationship and open from the very beginning.

Many stories have passed and we're ready to look for another chapter of our stories that God has prepared for us.
